Attività e ricerca
Attività:

Professor Sensales’ scientific activity has started from historical-theoretical interests, which have been recently taken up again with reference, on the one hand, to the historiographical and theoretical-critical debate concerning our discipline, and, on the other, to the emergence of Social Psychology. In this regard, she has carried out historical surveys able to single out both some forerunners scholars of Social Psychology in Italy, and the evolution of some key-concepts in the international scientific communication. Moreover, the study and the research have largely expanded into Social Psychology, starting from the theoretical-critical perspective of the social representations (Moscovici, 1961/1976, 1983; Doise 1982). She has examined, in this perspective, the representations of computer-information-technology, Marxism, environment, politics, political elections, gender-differences in language and politics, the 2005 French riots, both through interviews to naïve subjects and through the analysis of the mass media.
